What do you want? This is the fundamental question any coach will ask you (perhaps using more subtle phrasing). If you are not already in touch with your true values and sense of purpose, a coach helps you to connect with these. When you identify what is genuinely important to you, you find increased motivation and are able to better envision what you want to create. Coaching then provides structure to help you determine action steps particular to you, so that you can accomplish what is important to you over time.
People seek out coaches for a variety of reasons. I believe that whatever answers or solutions you are looking for reside within you. My style of coaching helps you to hear yourself. While paradigms of "5 Steps to This" and "8 Weeks to That" can be useful, I embrace an individualized process. We all have desires and ideas about what we think will make us happy or successful, but sometimes these desires and ideas are what we've picked up from the influences of our particular sociocultural context and are not authentic to our being.
My personal journey has taken me down a variety of paths and exposed me to many approaches to spirituality, healing and wellness. I recognize that different things work for different people, and that different things work for the same person at different times. Burnout, major life changes, spiritual crises and facing death are challenging experiences that most people will need to navigate at some point. Coaching can be beneficial during times of transition when we need to find a new way forward.
We are all works in progress. Let's start where you are.
